IC697BEM761 I/O bus interface controller (15 key points)
Specially designed for GE Fanuc 90-70 series PLC, it is an intelligent bridging module for IC600 and IC697 I/O systems.
Core function: Implement high-speed data exchange between IC600 CPU bus and IC697 I/O rack, compatible with hybrid I/O architecture.
A single module occupies one standard slot on the 90-70 backplane, compatible with both standard and VME integrator backplanes.
Using dual 37 pin connectors, it can directly connect to the IC600 I/O bus without the need for additional adapter components.
A single rack can support up to 256 I/O points (9-slot rack), while a 5-slot rack can support 128 points, allowing for flexible adaptation to different scales.
System level expansion: Up to 8 IC697 racks can be mounted, with a total of 2000 I/O points; Complementary addressing can be extended to 4000 points.
Intelligent data management: Automatically read and write data from all I/O modules in the rack, and periodically synchronize and upload it to the IC600 CPU.
Running requires CPU to allocate a minimum of 8K register space to ensure data caching and real-time exchange.
Support mixed I/O coexistence: The same I/O chain can simultaneously access three types of I/O modules: IC600, IC697, and IC660.
Backboard+5V power supply, current requirement of 1.3A, no need for additional on-site power supply, simple deployment.
Built in hardware level electrical isolation, bus and I/O side isolation, strong resistance to industrial electromagnetic interference.
Full software configuration, complete rack address and I/O mapping configuration through Logicmaster 90-70.
Equipped with LED status indicator, it displays real-time operation, communication, and fault status, providing intuitive diagnosis.
Support hot plugging, online maintenance and replacement without interrupting system operation, improving availability.
