Woodward's PROTECH-GII (model: 8237-2601) is an overspeed protection device designed to detect turbine overspeed or over acceleration events and safely shut down the turbine when necessary to prevent damage or safety accidents.

Main features:

High response speed: The device has a response time of 12 milliseconds and is suitable for various turbine types and sizes with a speed range from 0.5 to 32000 rpm.

Redundant design: provides two configuration options:

Dual redundant trip relay output: adopting a 2-out-of-3 voting architecture to ensure high reliability.

Three independent non voting trip relay outputs: each relay has an independent alarm function.

Integration and Communication: Equipped with 4-20 mA speed output and Modbus communication interface for easy integration with other control systems.

Installation options: Two installation methods are available: door panel installation and cabin wall installation, to meet different installation needs.

Power configuration: Supports high voltage/high voltage (HV/HV) or high voltage/low voltage (HV/LV) power input configurations, with high power selectivity.
