Xycom XVME-977 Disk Drive Board

Xycom XVME-977 is a 6U dual slot industrial grade disk storage module designed specifically for VMEbus systems, integrating IDE hard drives/floppy drives or solid-state flash memory. It achieves local high-capacity storage for VME systems with a single slot and is suitable for harsh industrial control scenarios.

Core Features

6U dual high VME standard size, occupying only one VME bus slot.

Built in 2.5-inch IDE hard drive (1.3GB/2.2GB)+3.5-inch 1.44MB floppy drive.

Optional 1.3-inch IDE flash drive (10MB/20MB/40MB/60MB), with no rotating parts for greater reliability.

The storage signal is transmitted through the VME P2 connector, and the power is taken from the P1 connector.

Compatible with VME PC/AT processor modules such as Xycom XVME-654/655.

The average seek time of the hard drive is about 12ms, the inter track seek time is 4ms, and the read and write performance is stable.

Support automatic error retry and defect sector mapping to improve data reliability.
