Xycom XVME-203 Counter Module

XVME-203 is a 3U single slot high-speed counter module based on the VMEbus architecture, integrating dual AM9513A chips. It is designed specifically for encoder, pulse counting, position measurement, and motion control scenarios, and supports orthogonal decoding and programmable interrupts.

Adopting a 3U single height Eurocard size, compatible with the VMEbus IEEE 1014 Rev. C1 standard.

Equipped with 2 AM9513A timers/counters, providing 10 independent 16 bit counting channels.

The maximum counting frequency is 5 MHz, supporting single pulse, double pulse, and AB orthogonal counting modes.

Built in 4-channel orthogonal decoding circuit, capable of simultaneously connecting 4 incremental encoders.

Orthogonal mode supports fourth harmonic generation, with a maximum equivalent counting rate of 20 MHz.

Provide 8 programmable output channels, supporting frequency output, single pulse, frequency division, and pulse generation.

Integrated AM9519A interrupt controller, providing 8 interrupt channels and supporting 7-level VME interrupts.

Interrupts can be configured as global shared vectors or single channel independent vectors, suitable for multitasking systems.

The input is source type (SRC), with a low-level current of -200 μ A and a high-level current of+20 μ A.

Output driving capability: High level+24 mA, low level -15 mA, can directly drive external circuits.

The power supply is+5 V DC, with a typical power consumption of 1.6 A and a maximum of 1.8 A.

Working temperature 0-70 ° C, humidity 5% -95% RH (non condensing), industrial grade reliability.

Supports A16/D08 (0) VME slave mode, and the base address can be configured through jumper wires.

It has status monitoring and triggering functions such as counting direction, overflow/underflow, and comparison matching.

Suitable for encoder position feedback, high-speed pulse counting, motion control, frequency measurement, and timing triggering scenarios.
