Product Details Introduction

MVI69-MCM is a Modbus communication module used by ProSoft for Rockwell CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 LRP, mainly for data exchange between PLC and Modbus devices. It has been discontinued and the market mainly consists of disassembled, refurbished, and original stock spare parts.

Compatible with 1769 rack, single slot installation, directly communicates with PLC through backplane bus.

Equipped with two independent serial ports, supporting three interface modes: RS-232, RS-485, and RS-422.

Each port can be individually designated as a Modbus master or slave.

Supports both Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII communication formats.

Read and write coils, discrete inputs, hold registers, input registers, and other data areas.

Support floating-point data processing to meet the data transmission needs of instruments, transmitters, and other devices.

The master station mode can batch poll multiple slave devices and automatically collect data.

The slave mode can be accessed by other PLCs, upper computers, and SCADA systems.

The module comes with a built-in data cache, which does not take up a lot of PLC scanning time.

Equipped with communication status monitoring, error counting, and automatic reconnection function upon disconnection.

Electrical isolation design, strong anti-interference ability, suitable for industrial site use.

The working temperature is 0-60 ℃, which is suitable for long-term continuous operation.

Powered by the rack 5VDC, no additional power supply is required.

Can connect devices such as frequency converters, instruments, valves, third-party PLCs, intelligent modules, etc.

Mostly used for system integration, device networking, renovation of old systems, data collection and monitoring.
