Product Details Introduction

XVME-682 is a dual slot 6U VMEbus dual board structure PC compatible processor module launched by XYCOM, with 80286 architecture as the core, integrating VME bus industrial reliability and PC software ecology, focusing on high compatibility, strong scalability and industrial stability, suitable for traditional industrial control, embedded real-time and data acquisition scenarios.

Adopting a dual board structure (CPU board+I/O board), dual slot 6U VME shape, occupying 2 VME slots, compatible with P1/P2 bus interfaces.

Equipped with Intel 80286 processor, the frequency software can choose 6/8/10MHz, and supports 80287 floating-point coprocessor (8MHz, optional).

Onboard dual port DRAM, standard 1MB, expandable up to 4MB, meets the requirements of industrial control program operation.

Integrated Phoenix ROM BIOS, compatible with IBM PC/AT standards, capable of running real-time/general-purpose operating systems such as DOS and VRTX.

Built in EGA/CGA/MDA/Hercules graphics controller, supporting local monochrome/color display output.

Provide SA450/ST506 hard drive interface and floppy drive interface, compatible with traditional mechanical storage devices.

Equipped with 2 RS-232 serial ports (compatible with 8250/NS16450) and 1 Centronics parallel port, with comprehensive basic I/O.

Integrated Motorola 146818A Real Time Clock (RTC) with battery backup to ensure system time synchronization.

Supports VMEbus master/slave mode, compatible with A32/A24/A16 addresses and D32/D16 data transmission, stable bus communication.

Onboard 128KB EPROM (CPU board, 2 sockets), 64KB EPROM (I/O board, 1 socket), with system firmware fixed.

Industrial grade environmental design, working temperature of 0 ℃~65 ℃, storage of -40 ℃~85 ℃, humidity of 5%~95%, no condensation.

The front panel integrates status LED, which displays the real-time running status of CPU, bus, and I/O, facilitating on-site debugging and diagnosis.

Supports P3 expansion interface (optional), which can be connected to external daughter cards to expand I/O, communication, and specialized functional modules.

Built in hardware reset and watchdog mechanism, ensuring automatic recovery of industrial scene system abnormalities and reliable continuous operation.

Suitable for traditional industrial control fields such as industrial automation, DCS/PLC control, data acquisition, testing and measurement, military embedded systems, etc.
