Product Details Introduction
XVME-202 is a dedicated controller for PAMUX distributed I/O systems under the VMEbus architecture, responsible for high-speed communication and address management between VME hosts and remote PAMUX intelligent I/O boards, designed specifically for industrial distributed control scenarios.
Single slot 3U height, fully compatible with VMEbus IEEE 1014 standard, compatible with standard VME chassis.
Core function: Implement centralized control and data exchange of remote I/O subsystem of PAMUX by VME host.
A single module can address up to 16 PAMUX units, with a total I/O point capacity of 512 points.
Using a 50 core flat cable to connect PAMUX devices, the transmission distance supports up to 500 feet (approximately 152 meters).
Onboard terminal resistor, no external matching required, simplifies long-distance wiring and signal integrity design.
Occupying 1K blocks of VME short I/O address space, the base address can be selected from 64 1K boundaries through a 6-bit jumper.
Built in register group, supporting PAMUX channel configuration, status reading, data reading and writing, and interrupt management.
The PAMUX bus is 8-bit wide, with each PAMUX unit providing 32 I/O points and supporting mixed digital/analog expansion.
PAMUX intelligent I/O board supports daisy chain cascading, greatly improving the flexibility of system I/O expansion.
Support VME interrupt mechanism, which can report events/failures of PAMUX devices to the VME host.
The power supply is standard VME+5VDC, with typical low power consumption, suitable for industrial site power supply environment.
Industrial grade wide temperature design, working temperature range of 0 ℃ to 65 ℃, storage temperature range of -40 ℃ to 85 ℃.
Hardware level signal buffering and driving ensure the stability and anti-interference ability of long-distance transmission.
Modular, no local CPU design, relying on VME host to complete logical operations, reducing local failure points.
Specially designed for upgrading old industrial control systems, expanding distributed I/O, and optimizing remote device monitoring scenarios.
