Product Details Introduction

MVI69-DFCM is a DF1 master/slave communication module designed by ProSoft specifically for the Rockwell CompactLogix/MicroLogix 1500 LRP platform. It is used for serial data exchange between PLCs and AB series PLCs, instruments, power monitoring and other equipment. It has been discontinued and is mainly sold as second-hand, refurbished, or in stock on the market.

Compatible with Rockwell 1769 rack, single slot installation, directly connected to the backplane bus.

Provide 2 independent serial ports, each port can be independently configured as a DF1 master or slave.

Supports full duplex and half duplex communication, compatible with CRC and BCC verification of DF1 protocol.

Equipped with hardware handshake control, suitable for scenarios such as radio stations, modems, and multi-point buses.

Built in data buffer, supporting up to 4000 registers for interaction with PLC.

The length of a single read/write command can reach 125 words, meeting the requirements for batch data transmission.

Asynchronous data exchange between modules and PLC does not affect the PLC scanning cycle.

Used for networking AB devices such as CompactLogix with SLC 500, PLC-5, MicroLogix, etc.

Integrate power monitoring, intelligent instruments, and third-party DF1 protocol equipment.

Realize transparent transmission of DF1 data between PLCs and between PLCs and the upper computer.

Industrial grade design, working temperature range of 0-60 ℃, suitable for factory site environment.

Power supply 5VDC, maximum current 800mA, powered by the rack backplane.

The configuration is completed through ProSoft Configuration Builder software.

Provide status indicator lights to visually display port communication and fault status.

Upgrade the replacement model to PLX51-DF1-ENI, supporting Ethernet expansion.

This module is a core spare part for implementing DF1 serial communication in old AB systems, often used for system expansion, modification, and fault replacement.
