24 port 10G electrical port high-density configuration: Extreme Networks BR-VDX6740T-24-R is equipped with 24 10GBase-T copper cable ports, supporting 10Gbps transmission rate, and can achieve high-speed access to servers and storage devices without fiber optic cabling, adapting to the high-density connection requirements of Top of Rack (Tor) scenarios in data centers.

40G high-speed uplink expansion capability: equipped with 4 40GBase-X QSFP+optical ports as the uplink, with a single port speed of 40Gbps, and supports splitting into 4 independent 10G ports through branch cables, with an additional 16 10G interfaces that can be expanded, balancing uplink bandwidth and access flexibility.

Supported by VCS Fabric technology: Built in Brocade VCS Fabric technology, it can virtualize multiple switches into a single logical device, simplify network topology management, support dynamic migration and automatic configuration of virtual machines (VMs), and adapt to highly virtualized data center environments.

Full port line speed forwarding performance: Designed with a non blocking architecture, the switching capacity and forwarding rate can meet the line speed processing requirements of 24 10G access and 4 40G uplink, ensuring low latency transmission for bandwidth intensive services such as virtual machine migration and data backup.

FIPS compliant security protection: Compliant with FIPS 140-2 security level 2 standard, it can provide high-strength data encryption and access control after enabling FIPS mode and configuring dedicated security policies, and supports strengthening physical security through tamper proof tags.
