Function Description of HIMA H6200A Transmitter Circuit

HIMA H6200A is an analog input module used in industrial automation safety systems. Its transmitter circuit is mainly used to receive analog signals from field instruments (such as transmitters), typically 4-20 mA current signals. This circuit has the following key functions:

1. Power supply function of transmitter

H6200A provides internally isolated DC power supply to power external 2-wire transmitters. The voltage is usually 24V, and the current is controlled to ensure power supply stability and safety.

2. Analog signal acquisition

The current signal (such as 4-20 mA) is converted into a voltage signal through current limiting and sampling circuits for subsequent A/D conversion processing. H6200A will linearize the input signal and convert it into a data format recognizable by the control system.

3. Electrical isolation

By isolating amplifiers or optocouplers, electrical isolation is achieved between the signal channel, power supply, and system motherboard, effectively preventing interference such as ground potential difference and overvoltage from entering the control system.

4. Fault monitoring

Equipped with the following fault detection functions:

Signal open circuit detection (such as transmitter disconnection)

Signal short circuit protection

Abnormal input voltage/current alarm

5. System integration capability

H6200A can be used as a part of the HIMatrix or HIMax system, completing signal diagnosis, logical operations, and data uploading through the security processor in the system backend. Capable of redundant design to meet the application requirements of SIL3 level.
