4-port 10G optical port high-density configuration: Extreme Networks BR-VDX6940-24Q-AC-F is equipped with 24 10GBase-X SFP+optical ports, supporting 10Gbps rate transmission and compatible with multi-mode/single-mode fiber modules, enabling long-distance high-speed access to servers and storage devices, accurately matching the high-density optical interconnection needs of large data center Top of Rack (Tor) scenarios.

100G Ultra High Speed Uplink: Equipped with 6 100GBase-X QSFP28 optical ports as the uplink core, the single port speed reaches 100Gbps, which is 2.5 times higher than the 40G uplink bandwidth. It also supports splitting into 4 25G ports through branch cables, and can expand an additional 24 25G interfaces to meet the flexible needs of core interconnection and medium speed access.

Enhanced VCS Fabric Technology: Upgraded to support Brocade VCS Fabric 2.0 technology, it can virtualize up to 32 switches into a single logical device, support dynamic migration and automatic configuration across fabric virtual machines (VMs), and adapt to the flexible expansion needs of ultra large scale virtualized data centers.

Full port line speed forwarding architecture: adopting a non blocking design, the switching capacity and forwarding rate can meet the line speed processing of 24 10G access channels and 6 100G uplink channels. In the 64Byte small packet scenario, the throughput still reaches over 99%, ensuring low latency business requirements such as AI training and distributed storage.

Multi layer routing and storage integration: fully supports dynamic routing protocols such as BGP-4, OSPFv3, IS-IS, compatible with IGMP v3 multicast and PIM-SM sparse mode, and natively supports FC-BB-5 and FCoE protocols, seamlessly connecting IP networks and fiber storage architectures, achieving "three in one" deployment.

Intelligent centralized management system: In addition to traditional methods such as CLI, SNMP v3, RMON 2, etc., ExtremeCloud IQ data center version control support has been added, which can achieve fabric topology visualization, traffic analysis, and automatic fault location. Combined with out of band management ports, it adapts to the refined operation and maintenance needs of large networks.

Advanced security protection mechanism: Compliant with FIPS 140-2 security level 2 standard, supports MACsec link layer encryption and IPsec transport layer encryption, built-in dynamic ACL and port security policies, combined with tamper proof hardware design, providing end-to-end security protection for core data transmission.
