Dual zone 48 port Gigabit Ethernet configuration: The Extreme Networks HM-2X24GA adopts a "2-group 24 port" partition design, equipped with a total of 48 10/100/1000Base-T adaptive Gigabit Ethernet ports. Each group of 24 ports can be independently divided into network areas (such as office and monitoring areas), adapting to the terminal classification access needs of multiple business scenarios in enterprises, and balancing high-density connectivity and network partition management flexibility.
Flexible uplink expansion capability: It is speculated to be equipped with 2-4 SFP gigabit optical ports (referring to the same series of hosting models), supporting multi-mode/single-mode fiber module access, which can achieve cross floor and long-distance core network interconnection. At the same time, it supports link aggregation (LAG) function, which improves bandwidth and redundancy by binding multiple uplink links, avoiding network interruption caused by single point link failures.
Full port line speed forwarding performance: Adopting a non blocking switching architecture, the expected switching capacity is over 100Gbps, with a forwarding rate of over 74Mpps. All 48 gigabit electrical ports and upstream optical ports support line speed processing, ensuring seamless concurrent transmission of multiple terminals (such as 4K video surveillance and large-scale office data exchange) and meeting enterprise level low latency business requirements.
Managed multi-layer network function: As a managed switch, it supports complete layer 2 features and basic layer 3 functions - layer 2 is compatible with IEEE 802.1q VLAN (supporting 4096 VLANs), 802.3ad link aggregation, STP/RSTP/MSTP spanning tree; The three-layer side supports static routing and RIP v1/v2 dynamic routing, enabling cross segment communication and routing optimization, and adapting to multi-layer network architectures for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Multi dimensional intelligent management system: supports triple management methods - Web graphical management interface (intuitive configuration of VLAN, QoS and other functions, suitable for novice operation and maintenance), CLI command line (meeting the refined configuration needs of advanced users), SNMP v3 protocol (compatible with centralized control of third-party network management platforms), and zero configuration boot (ZTP). New devices can automatically obtain configurations when powered on, simplifying the deployment process.
Fine tuned QoS traffic control: supports traffic classification and scheduling based on ports, 802.1p priority, and DSCP values, and can be divided into 8 priority queues to allocate dedicated bandwidth for real-time services such as voice calls and video conferences. It limits the bandwidth occupation of non critical data (such as downloads and P2P), avoids business lag caused by network congestion, and ensures the transmission quality of core services.
