Full PoE high-density port configuration: The Extreme Networks X450e-48P is equipped with 44 10/100/1000BASE-T fixed PoE ports and 4 RJ45/SFP composite ports. All 48 ports support 802.3af standard PoE power supply, which can adapt to live rooms such as IP phones and wireless APs, and can also achieve fiber optic uplink expansion through composite ports, accurately matching converged network access scenarios.

Scalable PoE Power Supply System: The built-in power module provides a basic PoE power budget of 370W. When paired with an EPS-C external power supply chassis and EPS-600LS module, the power can be expanded to 740W, supporting a single port of 15.4W for full power supply. It can also achieve intelligent power distribution through port priority settings to avoid device power outages under high loads.

Three layer full-featured network support: As a Layer 2-Layer 4 managed switch, X450e-48P supports static routing, IPv4/IPv6 dual stack, and 4094 VLAN partitioning. With hardware level routing forwarding capabilities, it can be used as a core layer or campus aggregation layer device for small and medium-sized enterprises, achieving efficient data transmission across network segments and subnet isolation.

High performance data processing architecture: With a 256Gbps switching capacity and a 130.9Mpps packet forwarding rate, it supports 9216 byte jumbo frame transmission and can smoothly handle concurrent data traffic on 48 ports. Coupled with low latency line speed forwarding design, it ensures seamless video conferencing, large-scale file transfer, and other services without buffering.

Flexible stacking and uplink extension: Two high-performance SummitStack stacking ports at the back can virtualize multiple devices into a single logical unit; Reserve one XGM2 expansion slot at the same time, supporting the installation of dual port 10Gbps SFP+/XFP modules, making it easy to upgrade network port density and bandwidth.

Multiple redundancy protection design: Supports redundant deployment of internal power supply and external EPS-C chassis, can connect up to 3 EPS-600LS modules to form a 2:1 redundant power supply, and with the process self-healing function of ExtremeXOS, can achieve automatic power failure switching and system upgrade without restarting, improving network availability.
