High density PoE port configuration: The Extreme Networks X250e-48p is equipped with 48 10/100BASE-TX automatic sensing PoE ports, paired with 2 RJ45/SFP Combo composite ports, with a total port density of 50. It can simultaneously connect terminal devices and uplink networks, adapting to high-density access scenarios.

Standard PoE power supply capability: All PoE ports comply with the 802.3af standard. When paired with the EPS-600LS external power module, a single port can provide sufficient power supply of 15.4 watts, which can simultaneously transmit data and power to devices such as IP phones, wireless APs, and network cameras, simplifying wiring deployment.

Core level system support: Equipped with the ExtremeXOS modular operating system, it has high elasticity and continuous availability, supports hardware level IPv4/IPv6 dual stack routing, can meet current network needs, provide investment protection for future IPv6 upgrades, and extend device lifecycle.

High speed stacking and expansion capability: Two high-performance stacking ports at the back, supporting Summit Stack technology and 40Gbps high-speed stacking bandwidth, can virtualize multiple X250e-48p devices as a single logical device, improving network expansion flexibility and unified management efficiency.

Compact rack design: Adopting a 1RU standard rack height design, the structure is compact and saves cabinet space. The front port layout and rear power/management interface zoning are reasonable, suitable for standardized deployment environments such as enterprise data centers and data center edges.

Redundant power supply guarantee: Equipped with redundant power input interfaces, it can connect one or more EPS-600LS power modules and EPS-C chassis externally. When the main power supply fails, it automatically switches to avoid power outages and network interruptions of PoE devices, improving power supply reliability.

Full layer functional coverage: Supports Layer 2-Layer 4 full layer network functions, with advanced traffic management and QoS priority scheduling capabilities. It can optimize transmission paths for real-time services such as VoIP and video conferencing, ensuring smooth operation of converged networks.

Comprehensive security protection: Built in user policy control, host integrity verification, and identity management functions, supporting MAC/IP security protection mechanism and universal port dynamic security configuration file, can effectively resist man in the middle attacks, and comply with Common Criteria EAL 3+security authentication standards.

Flexible management interface: Provides a front serial console port and a rear Ethernet management port, supporting dual modes of local configuration and remote management.
