Exclusive device compatibility design: Extreme Networks SSA-AC-PS-1000, as an original AC power module, is speculated to be designed specifically for SSA series core switches (such as SSA 1000/2000 models, subject to official specifications). Through standardized power slot installation, it can seamlessly adapt to host devices, ensuring that the power interface, power parameters, and host are perfectly matched, avoiding compatibility risks of third-party power sources.

High power stable output: Based on the "1000" label in the model and the rules of similar products, it is expected that the rated output power will reach 1000W (or designed around this power level), which can meet the power consumption requirements of SSA series switches in full configuration, including the simultaneous operation of multi port modules, switching engines, and expansion components, and is suitable for high load scenarios such as enterprise core layer and data center aggregation layer.

Wide range AC input adaptation: compatible with the global mainstream AC voltage input range (estimated to be 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz), it can be deployed in different countries and regions without the need for additional voltage conversion equipment, adapting to the unified power configuration requirements of multinational enterprise branches and multi regional data centers, and reducing the cost of cross-border project implementation.

Hot swappable maintenance feature: Adopting a hot swappable design, replacing the SSA-AC-PS-1000 module in a redundant power supply configuration does not require shutting down the host device. It can be easily disassembled and assembled through a snap or screw structure. Combined with the module's built-in status indicator light, it achieves non-stop maintenance and reduces the risk of business interruption caused by operation and maintenance.

Multiple security protection mechanisms: Built in overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), short circuit protection (SCP), and over temperature protection (OTP) functions. When current overload, voltage abnormality, line short circuit, or module overheating occurs, the output can be automatically cut off and an alarm can be triggered to prevent the fault from spreading to the host switch and protect the hardware safety of the equipment.
