Product Details Introduction

The HP 44702B is a 13 bit high-speed plug-in voltmeter module designed specifically for the HP 3852A data acquisition host. It features ultra high speed sampling and large capacity data caching, making it suitable for dynamic signal capture and transient measurement.

Core specifications and features

13 bit resolution (12 bit data+1 sign bit), using a successive approximation ADC, balancing speed and accuracy.

Maximum sampling rate: 100000 times/second (100kHz), supports automatic/manual range switching.

Onboard data cache: 64000 point sampling buffer, supports DMA high-speed transfer, and does not lose data during measurement.

DC voltage range: 40mV, 2.56V, 10.24V; Maximum input protection: ± 16V peak.

DC voltage accuracy (2.56V range): ± (0.05%+1.88mV).

Resistance measurement: Supports 2-wire/4-wire method, with a range of 30 Ω~3M Ω, and a built-in constant current source driver.

Measurement type: It can directly measure DC voltage, DC resistance, strain, and temperature (thermocouple/RTD).

Trigger method: Supports internal timing, external 5V TTL triggering, software triggering, with high synchronization accuracy.

Common mode rejection ratio: ≥ 70dB at DC~60Hz (1k Ω unbalanced), strong industrial anti-interference.

Interface: HP-IB (GPIB/IEEE-488), programmable control, compatible with automatic testing systems.

Design: 3U plug-in card module, must be used in conjunction with HP 3852A/3853A host.

Applications: transient signal capture, high-speed process recording, impact/vibration testing, semiconductor parameter testing.

Compared to the previous generation 44702A, the cache has been upgraded from 8000 points to 64000 points, making long-term high-speed data collection more stable.

Status: Discontinued, the market mainly consists of second-hand, refurbished, and spare parts.
