Product Details Introduction

HP E1406A is a VXI bus system controller module launched by HP (Agilent/Keysight), which serves as the core control unit of VXI chassis and is used to build automatic testing systems.

Belonging to C-size, single slot VXI module, responsible for Slot 0 system controller and resource manager functions.

Built in GPIB (IEEE-488) to VXI interface, which can control the entire VXI chassis through an external computer.

Equipped with a 16MHz Motorola 68000 processor, it processes bus commands and communicates with instruments.

Onboard 256KB RAM and 1.75MB Flash memory, storing firmware and drivers.

Supports IBASIC programming language, capable of independently running test programs without the need for an external computer.

Provide RS-232 serial port for terminal configuration, debugging, or connecting peripherals.

Supports MXIbus expansion and can control multiple chassis expansion systems.

Can translate register based instruments into SCPI message based instruments, simplifying programming.

Compatible with all manufacturers' message based VXI modules, with strong universality.

Equipped with 10MHz system clock and trigger synchronization function, unifying system timing.
